Atypical Hemangioma
Fat is bright on T1 images but water is black
On STIR images, fat is suppressed but water is still bright
In this case, the bright pedicle on T2 images is bright on T1 but not suppressed on STIR
This means it is fluid, an atypical hemangioma
Can be confused as a stress fracture
